In preparation for the Croatian local elections held at the time this was going to press, instead of Croatian political flags, this issue brings us a detailed review of political symbols from the Italian parliamentary elections held in February, by our Bavarian colleague who specializes in the study of
political flags.
In the last issue we wrote about the Flags workshop in the Museum Collection of Kastav. This time we highlight a flag from that collection and another interesting and previously unknown flag from the Croatian History Museum Collection, presented by Jelena Borošak Marijanović.
Heraldists world-wide always monitor closely the election of a new pope, whose coat of arms is always analysed carefully. Our colleague Marko Vitez presents it. We also follow the tireless heraldic events organized by our colleague Jasminka Ćus Rukonić on Cres.
We continue with the series of articles on major Croatian heraldists prepared by Dr. Tomislav Galović, who also brings us a report on a
recently defended graduate thesis.
