The Flagmaster magazine of the British Flag Institute, which has been published since 1971, published in its number 160, for the summer of 2020, an interview with FIAV President Željko Heimer led by Alex Cachinero-Gorman.
In the interview, Heimer answers questions about the role and goals of FIAV, the relationship between FIAV and its members, challenges in the development of vexillology in the coming years, vexillologist’s attitude towards activism for changing / adopting individual flags, different approaches to vexillology in FIAV member associations and the organization of subsequent congresses in light of the pandemic crisis.
