With our cover story we would like to introduce the effacing work of an important institution that ensures that the artefacts from museum collections important to us do not lose, and even regain, its former glory, and remain available for future generations – through the example of an interesting naval flag.
We continue with contributions to the Croatian Heraldry Lexicon, this time with a biography of one intriguing personality of our mid-twentieth century heraldry – Viktor Antun Duišin. Then we bring you the news from the international events – the Heraldic Congress in Maastricht and the Art Flags Festival in Zagreb, the news on the world flags and the news from heraldry and vexillology in Croatia. Finally, we gladly report on the experience from Rijeka on transmitting this heritage to the youngest generations.
