Exhibition “Postage stamps of the Republic of Croatia with state-building motifs” in Gospić

The exhibition “Postage stamps of the Republic of Croatia with state-building motifs” was opened on June 4, 2024 at the “Dr. Ante Starčević” Open University in Gospić. The exhibition was set up on the occasion of the 176th anniversary of the Croatian tricolor, which is celebrated on June 5, and was originally set up at the headquarters of the Brothers of the Croatian Dragon Society in the Tower above the Stone Gate in Zagreb. The exhibition was realized in cooperation with the Open University Gospić, the Croatian Heraldic and Vexillological Society and the Brothers of the Croatian Dragon Society, and the authors of the exhibition are Julije Maras, Zoran Vlahović and Željko Heimer. At the opening, the director of the Open University Irena Peša greeted the visitors with a speech, and then Željko Heimer addressed the audience, a little more about the exhibition itself. Mislav Grgić spoke about the Brothers of the Croatian Dragon Society and its activities. The exhibition remained open until June 14.
