On Tuesday, 17th October 2006, the HGZD presented itself to the member of the Croatian Genealogical Society “Pavao Ritter Vitezović” (Hrvatsko rodoslovno društvo “Pavao Ritter Vitezović”, HRD Vitezović). The genealogists are holding their regular meetings on Tuesdays (except the first Tuesday in a month) at 18:00 hours in Opatička street 16/I. This Tuesday the president and the secretary of the HGZD were invited to present the actions and the plans of our Association and to talk together about the possibilities for cooperation.
The presentation, that was previously held for our members on the Establishing Assembly, we have shown a short review of our heraldic and vexillological heritage and we have recounted on our experiences and plans. The genealogists were gracious hosts. after the “formal” part (which was not that formal as it sounds) we remained together in a pleasant informal talks on common subjects, that could have easily lasted until the morning…
Anyway, we have agreed that both societies have many common points and that we are looking forward to the future cooperation.
Our members are welcome to the meetings on Tuesdays, just as the genealogists shall be welcome to our meetings once we start them.
