The City of Vodice, now one of increasingly few cities in Croatia without an approved coat of arms and flag, published recently a public contest for their design. If you are inspired and find time for it, see details at http://www.grad-vodice.hr i.e. http://www.grad-vodice.hr/assets/files/javni_poziv_grb.pdf
The dead-line is 2nd November 2010. If you decide to run, we wish you much success.

The competition was run, some designs were chosen, and eventually one among them was singled out. However, it was not entirely pleasing to the city councilors, while in the mean time, a seal used by Vodice was discovered in archives, and as it appears, the story come only so far.
