The latest issue of the interdisciplinary scientific journal that publishes scientific and professional articles in the field of historical and related humanities, Radovi Zavoda za hrvatsku povijest Filozofskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu (Journal of the Institute of Croatian History) in the issue 2 Vol 52 for December 2020 published a review of Željko Heimer’s monograph issued by the Jewish Community of Zagreb, 2019. The review of the book is prepared by one of its reviewers, Assistant Prof. Dr. Tomislav Galović, who concludes his text with the words:
“In conclusion, we can state that a thorough knowledge of the topics, archival sources and literature of the author Dr. Željko Heimer, then a precise expression, fact-based and equipped with the necessary scientific equipment – upgraded by cooperation with vexillological associations and individuals in Israel – produced a very useful publication not only for the humanities but also for the social sciences. Moreover, excellent pictorial and other contributions follow the text in Croatian and English very harmoniously. The monograph is an extremely valuable contribution to both Israeli and Croatian vexillology as an auxiliary historical science, but equally to sociology and political science, and at the same time positions the young Croatian flag science into world trends.”
