Mirjan Rimanić: Pazinski grb, vlastita naklada, Pazin, 2006.
We may inform you with pleasure on a new book by Mirjan Rimanić “Pazinski grb” (The Coat of Arms of Pazin). The book is issued in self-edition on 112 pages of 23 cm in height with coloured illustrations and with summaries in English and Italian. The author, journalist of Glas Istre, after a many years of research of the history and development of the coats of arms in the region of the historical County of Pazin (Pisino) issued a story on the development of the coat of arms of the city of Pazin during almost a thousand years.
– The book is richly illustrated and follows not only heraldic but also ‘administrative9 period of the use o fthe coat of arms as a symbol, since the time of establishment of th municiplaity of Pazin in the time of Austrian-Hungarian administration, ove rthe time of Italian government when the Pazin tower was topped with fascios, to the partisan-socialist period when it was replaced with a five-pointed star, until present when the coat of arms of Pazin is again like the historical one, although with somewhat modernized design stylizations. – says bookaleta.blog.hr
