The 4th HGZD Electoral Assembly was held on 25 May 2010 in the premises of the Zagreb Classical Gymnasium Society, at 18:30. The Assembly was attended by two dozen members and friends of the Association. The HGZD President held the Annual Report reminding the auditory on the achievements and events organized or participated by the Association, since it was established four years ago until today, highlighting the last year.  read more »

The 23rd International Congress of Vexillology was held in Yokohama, Japan from 12th to 18th July 2009. Željkoo Heimer participated the Congress as the HGZD delegate. The vexillologic congresses are held biannually by the International Federation of Vexillologic Organizations (FIAV), of which HGZD is a member since the previous Congress in Berlin 2007. The hosts of the congresses are the local vexillologic organizations - this time it was the Japanese Vexillologic Association (JAVA).  read more »

In the Slovenian House Zagreb, Masarykova street 13, on Wednesday, May 6th, 2009, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway held a lecture on relationships between Norway and Croatia and opened the exhibition "Norwegian flags" by Željko Heimer. The exhibition was prepared within the Croatian-Norwegian Society "Željko Takač" in 2005 on the occasion of marking of the Norwegian independence 100th anniversary. After its initial set in Zagreb in February 2005, in the last four years the exhibition was guest in well over 10 cities all around Croatia and was hosted in Norway as well. This second appearance in Zagreb showed no less interest with the audience.

On Monday, May 9th 2009 at 7pm the Zagreb Classical Gymnasium Association organized in the premises of the Croatian Art History Society, Preradovićeva street 44, a lecture by Željko Heimer "The coat of arms and the flag of the Republic of Croatia" with a presentation followed by an interesting discussion.

In organization by Cultural Association Miroslav Šalom Freiberger, in the auditory of the Jewish Community of Zagreb, 16 Palmotićeva street, on Tuesday, March 24th at 7pm, the book "Grb i zastava Republike Hrvatske" by Željko Heimer was presented. After the introduction by Živko Gruden, Prof. Neven Budak, the editor of the edition talked about it. A lecture with the most interesting issues from the book were presented by the autror.
