Heraldry in the educational programme of the Croatian TV

Nulti sat HRT 2 at 9:20Within the educational programme of the Croatian national television HRT, in the week of 6th through 10th November in the show "Nulti sat", the topics of heraldry and vexillology shall be covered. Each day the live show shall host a heraldists or a teacher who shall explin the basics of the heraldry and vexillology. The show is produced primarly for the students of trhe 7th and 8th grade of the primary schools, but for the older as well.

Hrvatsko rodoslovno društvo "Pavao Ritter Vitezović": www.rodoslovlje.hr On Tuesday, 17th October 2006, CHVA presented itself to the member ofthe Croatian genealogic society "Pavao Ritter Vitezović". The genealogists are holding their regular meetings on Tuesdays (except the first Tuesday in a month) at 18:00 hours in Opatička street 16/I. This Tuesday the president and the secretary of the CHVA were invited to present the actions and the plans of our Association and to talk together about the possibilities for cooperation. read more »

Lesotho - New flag hoisted on 3rd October 2006.

According to the Lasotho News Agency (LENA), the Upper House of Parliament adopted unanimously the National Flag Bill on 27th September 2006, just a few days after it was passed in the Lower House with 84 votes for and 18 against. Thuse the national flag of Lesotho is changed. The new flag will be hoisted for the first time in midnight, Tuesday 3rd October, as part of the ceremony celebrating the 40th anniversary of independence. read more »
